It is with great excitement that we announce the Northern Ireland Tour flight - a VFR tour in light aircraft around the beautiful Northern Ireland.
We have been kindly allowed to tag behind the main operators of the tour, CIX VFR Club - an online flying club aimed at VFR flights in light aircraft. Any aircraft in the ICAO 'Light' aircraft category is welcome.
The event takes place on Wednesday 15th August at 1930hrs local (i.e. 1830Z), beginning at Newtownards aerodrome (EGAD).

Note that the 'CIX VFR CLUB' flight plan comment is not necessary for us - replace this with the usual caalair.com callsign Clover.
Also note that the I-EGT and I-ENN navaids are DME only - i.e. they do not provide directional information. Only use NDB navaids to navigate.
An electronic flight plan file can also be downloaded - it is designed to work with a free VFR flight planning aid called Plan-G. It can be downloaded for free from the Internet.
